I certainly think Memphis deserves credit. They did a great job and no doubt the cream of the crop in this conference for this season.

Just don't go one and done in the dance. We need you to build up those credits you will be leaving in CUSA.

USM because they can just blow you out of the water at any time
UTEP because Tim's style of play drives us nuts and your guys thrive on it
Marshall because they are just so dadgum talented

During the Memphis v. UTEP game on Tuesday night; Pete Gillen picked Houston and ECU as his darkhorse choices to win the CUSA tournament. Hopefully ECU will get by that 4/5 game and get another shot at Memphis.

do NOT sleep on houston - i think theyve got some really solid young players and wish house was wearing blue and gray

Agreed. You need to leave this lowly conference of Houston, SMU, UCF, and Tulane and move up to a conference of Houston, SMU, UCF, and Tulane.

I thought that was pretty funny, too, considering that we're moving from a waiting room with unpainted walls to one with a vending machine and now we have a phone that can play Angry Birds while we wait.

In all seriousness, I think us leaving is best for everyone. We get to play with "peer" schools like UConn, Cincy, and Temple (either for a couple of years or as we all continue on to the nACC), and you guys get to inject some interesting new blood into a suddenly way more balanced league. Overall perofrmance of the league notwithstanding, I'll never denigrate the programs at UAB, USM, and UTEP. I hope you all continue to grow and ultimately make noise in the tourney at some point.

Next year we will play Louisville, Cincy, UConn, and Temple in conference...it will be a nice change of pace.
