ECU
14th in scoring per game
4th in assists per game
27th in three's made per game

Our team certainly has the ability to score and moves the ball well. We can't defend much but any team that has an off shooting night they kind of offense we have certainly makes us dangerous.

I consider ECU the darkhorse to win it. Now that I said that, they will probably get knocked out by Tulsa in their first game.

Tulsa in Tulsa is as crappy a first round draw as we could have, not to mention Memphis probably if we get by them.

Congrats to Memphis, clearly the best team in the conference again this year.

So, I'm supposed to be reminded that Memphis' undefeated conference run isn't as impressive as year's past due to the league being down but ignore the fact that ECU's lone winning conference record came in the same situation? Really SJ?

On any given day, almost any team in CUSA could beat Memphis. The way Memphis has been playing lately, though, it will be difficult.

Try reading again. I said Memphis might be undefeated, but this isn't the same caliber of Memphis teams that previously went undefeated. Those were top 5/#1 or #2 national seeds. I ALSO said the league is BETTER than those years you rolled to undefeated records, especially if you consider the divisional format which makes the eastern teams schedules a lot better. Memphis has always had to play the tougher league schedules but we certainly did this year as well. As far as CUSA being worse you are wrong and I never said that, hell I remember one of those seasons there were only like 4 teams that were under 200 in the RPI. Memphis is the best team, no debate, but the gap is certainly not the same as previous undefeated Memphis teams nor is this tourny on your homecourt.

The RPI summary that JMS put out weekly indicates that the RPI has been fairly even through the years that the Tigers went undefeated. No measure is perfect, but there's not a ton of difference in the overall rating of the conference in those years.

From what I saw ECU and UAB are bad matchups fot Tulsa. ECU and UAB try to push the pace for a lot of possessions. Tulsa's roster is too thin at this point to play that way and they don't rough up their opponents the way that UTEP and USM do; in order to get multiple possessions and to slow things down. Tulsa could certainly win, but they would have to set the pace.

Tulsa will be easier to beat this year than we will be next year. Coach Manning will have more of his essential players in place next year. This year we have no center and only one true forward. All the rest are actually guards. Very few backups this year. Basically no depth on the bench. So yes Tulsa will be easier to beat this year than next.

We don't really have a lot of depth now either. 3 season ending injuries to seniors, all former starters, will do that do you. That said if that's what it took to get Lebo to finally put Richmond on the court we are still better off.

Agreed. You need to leave this lowly conference of Houston, SMU, UCF, and Tulane and move up to a conference of Houston, SMU, UCF, and Tulane.

lol. I don't care who you are, that's funny.
