heard Andy Katz talking today about Xavier- he's saying if they win tomorrow and then make the title game in the A10, very possibly they could get in the tourney.

I don't know if you would call playing for a 4 seed is A10 supremacy. Sounds more like bear wrestling, free corn dogs, and the Mega Bowl to me.

Well Stinkle Fieldhouse and the Flint arena are pretty comparable in terms of drab, old basketball arenas...

It could conceivably happen - at that point Xavier could potentially have an additional 3 Top 50 RPI wins away from home.

But right now, their road in the A-10 Tournament looks like it could go through Temple. Xavier is 0-5 against the Owls in A-10 Tournament play. It's more likely that Xavier has to play 4 games in 4 days in Brooklyn; that's going to be a lot to ask of a thin bench.

When the C7 play at Hinkle make sure that you are up by a lot because games end rather strange in that building. Clock issues, horn issues, etc.

Butler probably did Xavier a favor by winning last night; Muskies now draw Saint Joe's (who has woefully underachieved in the A-10 this season) in Round 1 with a possible rematch with VCU in the quarters. Had Xavier won, they'd be facing Dayton in the 1st round. That's a game Xavier would probably win but leave them drained for their next game.

I like what it did for Butler too. It sets up games vs Dayton then LaSalle. I doubt there's much issue with either.

Conference tournament is a bit irrelevant, but that would be win 460 in the last 20 years for Butler (exactly 23 per year)
