RE: Thoughts on the Liberty Bowl
The Liberty Bowl will obviously stay with the A12. The questions is, who will be the opponent, and where will it fall in the A12 lineup. Things are not looking great with the Champs, Belk, and Pinstripe, but I do not believe A12 will lose all 3. If they do, that just means some opportunities will come available somewhere else. I do however, believe that the Liberty will move up the A12 pecking order. Whether that is #1, 2, or 3 remains to be seen. Could the Sun bowl also be another options for the A12 to send a higher team.

Pitt... Pitt... that name rings a bell... isn't that the team that got beat up by the bullies from Youngstown Ohio?

RE: Thoughts on the Liberty Bowl
Miko should not worry, because pitt will probably never make a bowl like the Liberty. You should set your sights on the Beef o Brady, to give your 1500 fanbase a January 6th trip to lose a bowl game. I think you all made the Belk Bowl a few years ago, but your program has most certainly slipped. I suppose by now, you all can find some fun in a bowl loss. That's about the best you can hope for.

Any reason why people are trying their hardest to talk smack in this thread? I try to provide a thought provoking topic to generate serious discussion...and all the Conference America fans want to talk about is Pitt. This is precisely why Conference America has such a terrible reputation amongst CFB fans. The fans are very arrogant. It would be nice if the people on this board would learn some humility.

I think it's the excessive pride that comes from getting the "ole gang back together". This is what Memphis fans have dreamed about for years. It's here, but now some of the fans are drunk with irrational exuberance.

I'll say this we had a blast at the LB last year. Our kids had a great time all week and we fans enjoyed the great food, festivities and game. Wish it'd been a little dryer and warmer. I would love to go back soon.

Why are using such insulting language? I came over here to fellowship with you guys and you are treating me as if I'm blasting you guys with ill will. I always liked the Conference America (BE), and I even have some soft spots for some of the schools in this conference - like Memphis. When you use such language and treat other posters like this, I'm afraid that you will not be able to hold the wonder, awe and imaginations of your fellow posters. You should choose your words more carefully, or people will think you are naturally mean spirited.

Maybe the Liberty Bowl can link with the Music City, Belk, etc... with hopes of the conference winner going to a bowl that generates the most fan interest.

Miko,

I am going to honest with you. This topic wasn't too bad, but you do have a reputation of trolling. So you'll have to forgive some people if they took it the wrong way. Many times you have a tendency to ask a question that may seem innocent, but if you look closely, could be construed as a trolling event. You have a good talent for that. Just being honest.

My guess is the A12 will be looking for other bowl partners moving forward that are better strategic fits, so it makes sense for this bowl to become an ACC/SEC/B1G/Big12 bowl. What are your thoughts?

Frosted cherry poptarts are my favorite. What's yours?

You of course are a troll, and passive aggressive. I'm thinking you're either a child or a woman, as you have manipulation down pat. Please go away. No one needs your idiotic insider information, Patrick Bateman. How are those business cards coming? Mine are better.
