I suppose those 3 know something you don't-like the reasons why they might take such actions. It was explainded by Holder and Graham in easy to understand terms. If you can't follow, there is nothing I or they can do to help you figure it out.

I understand their point regarding the need to be able to use lethal force during extraordinary circumstances like an outright attack, but nobody was questioning that right during the filibuster.

Can you please show me where anyone associated with the Obama administration has explained why they could not kill an American citizen on American soil who had been placed on the disposition matrix? Or if an explanation is too much, just confirmed that they lack the constitutional authority to do so. Not would not, because I have no doubt that they have no intention of actually doing so, but could not legally do so.

I haven't seen anything, but I'm open to the possibility that I've missed something. Holder's latest letter to Paul certainly doesn't. He says they can't kill non-combatants in America, but I'm pretty sure everyone on the disposition matrix is considered an enemy combatant. His response to Cruz's questions came close, but with as muddled as his responses were it is hard to consider any of them definitive.

Looks like he expected an echo chamber and those two guests didn't deliver. If this filibuster would've never happened, this debate within America wouldn't be happening right now. If it had just been a small debate on the Senate floor, nobody would've heard about it because our 'news' wouldn't find it worth mentioning. Any one who is conservative, liberal, socialist, libertarian, moderate etc is happy that some attention was brought into this issue. Those who are outright against the attention being drawn to this are nothing but happy team members of the Democrats and Republicans. They'll just move where the team moves.

Have lost almost all respect for Senator McCain and Lindsay Graham.

Never had any respect for Graham and lost a lot for McCain.

What an odd, odd man. I often wondered why no one watches MSNBC... It's fairly obvious to me now.
