Well the acc cannot deny mtsu forever, and they will rush it if they think the sec might come calling.

You may or may not remember, but very soon after MT/FAU was announced(maybe even later that same day) WKU/NMSU were also announced, it was later called premature and that C-USA would be staying at 14.
UTEP to the MWC has been rumored for years and has never happened, is that going to change between now and July?
I'm not saying that there won't be more movement, but I think that Tulsa to the Big East, WKU to C-USA, and whoever gets the Sun Belt call will be the last of the movement for our leagues between now and July. More movement will likely start with the Big Ten, SEC or Big XII and won't reach C-USA/Sun Belt until the beginning of the next academic year.
If C-USA ends up looking to add schools in the next academic year(Arkansas State and Louisiana?) it will be interesting to see how that plays out. WKU will be joining for 2014 because their invite would have been accepted before the end of this academic year, if Arkansas State and Louisiana were to get invites during the 13/14 year they could potentially be in the same boat that FAU and MT were, having to negotiate an early exit fee to join WKU for 2014, otherwise they'd be waiting till 2015.

WKU to anywhere but the SBC has been rumored forever as well, now it is finally coming true. I am not saying that asu and ull will come this year, I said they should be right behind us. as in next on the list. I see a couple of scenarios where they get the invite, some where they wait. Texas St could be an addition to CUSA. But only if they lose some Texas schools.

"WKU to anywhere" has not been rumored forever. MT and WKU had a brief package deal discussion with the MAC a while back and both sides came away unimpressed. That same rumor has resurfaced a few times, but never with any merit.
Anyway, we're getting off topic. The biggest point I'd like to make is that there is really nothing beyond message board speculation to suggest Arkansas State and Louisiana are even on C-USA's radar. I suspect they are, but you act like it's a forgone conclusion that they'd be the next two added. So not only are you talking about timelines that you(nor I) have any idea about, you're making assumptions of who will fill possible holes once they may(or may not) open.
The point is, things appear to be settling back down for the foreseeable future. I do not believe C-USA is going to 16, I do not believe there will be any more movement to the nBE, and I do not believe that UTEP will be going to the MWC. So any movement will have to start from above, that may or may not take place in the next year. It may be a couple of years before we see another addition to C-USA and when that happens, there's no real concrete evidence to suggest that Arkansas State and Louisiana are next in line.

Good luck to WKU. No hard feelings on that one.
None at all.
If you must leave, please leave with class.
And make sure you give your vote to us good folks in Lafayette when and if our name comes up in the next round.
I think WKU has been really good for the Sun Belt, probably more so than the Sun Belt has been good for WKU, If we leave it will be with class I believe from most or our fans.

of course no one on here knows what is happening. wku was rumored to be going metro when it formed...btw.
the reason this exists is for people to voice their opinions and talk about possible scenarios bc in the end none of us know ****. so leave me the hell alone.

The truly funny thing about it is that it's really not App State fans (from what I have read) pushing the two teams into every thread. It's the GSU fans trying to claim they (along with App State) are the great saviors.
Not for nothing, but they are reminding me of UTSA fans when they were claiming themselves to be the greatest thing ever to grace the football field.

He is a little slow, like most Techies. He still hasn't figured out that the WAC died first, so by definition, the erosion trickled UP, not down.

So if true, only ASU, UL, ULM, and Troy will remain. The WAC ended with five original memebrs (SJSU, USU, LA Tech, Idaho, and NMSU). The only difference is the east has teams willing to move up.
USA?
USA football is new. So I didn't include them.
