a. quit posting
b. become a Rice or any other CUSA team fan
c. love the A12 and talk about how great it will be for Tulsa

Captain America is now a property of Disney which is also the owner of ESPN. Sounds like a perfect fit.

They will more than likely use the shield as their back drop with the lettering A/XII across it with the red white and blue color scheme as well. Just when we thought CUSA was the dumbest thought out conference name one comes along and tops that hands down. CUSA has morphed into America12 new and improved conference of the states. LOL

I better force myself to laugh before I start to cry. What a disaster. America 12? Are the presidents and commissioner actually trying to make the conference resemble CUSA as much as they possibly can?

They don't need a number because then an addition or a leaving would make them look like idiots. I had in mind a name that would accomplish all of this and make them sound battle hardened and tough. How about a truthful name that fulfills all of these goals, Remnant Athletic Conference, or RAC now that the use of antler spray is popular.

If the RAC has a great season the news can report that 2013 was a 16 point year for the RAC. A rivalry could be called a RUT. And it would be very appropriate on opening day to speak of how many were in the stands. Every time an NFL player gave the antler hand gesture people would think he played in the RAC. It would appeal to Big 10 and SEC fans alike and remove some of the City boy image that terms like "Big East" once carried. The conference could issue tags to OOC foes allowing them to bag only one RAC team a season, "legally". This would help to insure bowl eligibility for most of the RAC members. Pasties could be sold for concessions at all RAC games. They are hot and hardy and better for you than hot dogs, maybe? For really big games everyone in the stands could turn out in "Hunter Orange". Yes, I say be truthful, be proud, and distinguish yourselves! All of America will watch as long as you call yourselves something bold and unique. What America won't watch is a remnant that calls themselves America.

Like I said, Americans who feel greatly diminished right now aren't going to warm up to a conference that has been diminished and calls itself "America".
