wanted to give a shout out and say thanks.
To the schools who worked with scheduling and took a few for the team. It may just have been because some schools are more valuable for TV than others, but thanks anyway. 3 weeknight games out of only 6 or so home games is rough, so major props to those guys.
Weeknight home games
UCF - 3
Uconn - 3
Houston - 3
Louisville - 2
Cincy - 1
SMU - 1
Memphis - 1

As I've said many times Houston doesn't mind week night games... Most Alum live in Houston. I like them myself because I take half days at work and tailgate like its a Saturday.....We usually have good crowds on week nights....Playing in Reliant though for 1 year will make the place look hollow. We should average about 40+ but the Stadium holds 80,000 so it will look sparse.

We have that same problem with the liberty bowl. Anything under 40K just looks pitiful.

RE: wanted to give a shout out and say thanks.
We've been having weekight games for 15 years. Hell he helped populatize the games (along with Virginia Tech and Marshall). What's funny is at first we hated them. Then got used to them to the point that a couple fo years ago we were disappointed that we did not have any. Nobody wants 6 weekday games or anything, but one on Thursday and then the next Friday, then you can watch football all day on Saturday, works fine for me.
The weekday games that suck are the early season Thursday games. Those are the ones that go against big name NFL games. Once you get into October, the NFL Thursday game featues the likes of Jacksonville at Tennessee.
