Someone we all know and love is in deep doggie doo doo.

Is it possible that the wrongfully accused NIU police officer may have been a little willing to pass some information on to the state's attorney and feds?

I think so.

Or perhaps somebody higher.

It's possible Grady could've copped a plea deal to reduce his sentence should this thing go to trial.

I have the feeling it was the guy who got fired who first let on about this and then after Grady got fired he was more willing to talk.

It could have been higher than Grady.

Maybe. I think it all starts with the officer that got wrongfully accused.

My old roommate was on the guy's floor freshman year (he was an NIU student before he became an officer), and apparently his family is loaded, so if he wanted to take NIU to the cleaners on this, he had the means to do it.

President Peters:

Last fall, I sent a formal, written request to the director of the Illinois State Police (ISP) that, among other things, requested ISP assistance in reviewing NIU law enforcement protocols and procedures.
