EMU needs a win over UT to get the 5 seed, and Buffalo needs a win over BG and an EMU loss to claim that last bye.

Everyone else will need a win on Monday to get to Cleveland

DJ Cooper 2000 points 900 assists 600 rebounds and 300 steals. First player ever in college basketball to accomplish that. One of the greatest players in MAC history. He had a monster game tonite with 24 with a bomb to put Ohio ahead in last 90 seconds with the game winner.

Not quite. If Buffalo loses, and Ball State wins, no matter what Eastern does, Ball State gets the 5 seed. The Cardinals win a head-to-head tiebreaker with Eastern by virture of sweeping Western.

Toledo banned ...too bad.

I'm finally convinced that I would give him my POTY vote if I had one. He did a great job making things happen down low tonight. He's been a Bull killer all his career, and he seems like a very likable kid. I'm sure I would like him if he wasn't the main reason Buffalo is 2-7 against Ohio in their last 9 meetings.

This was a post last night on twitter. Looks to me like if they finish with the same record, it would be EMU, UB, BSU in that order. I am not sure why EMU is ahead of both right now and wouldn't control their own destiny. IE - Why isn't BSU in the 5 spot today?

I think BSU needs UB to lose to make it to a head-to-head tiebreaker with EMU, but would lose a three-way tiebreaker for whatever reason.

I was wondering what the tie breaker between BSU and EMU would have been. :(

Cooper hit a fadeaway three for the win with about a minute to go. It was ridiculous, but he knew it was good the moment it left his hand.

Eastern would win the three-way tiebreaker because they were 2-1 against the other two, Buffalo 1-1, and Ball State 1-2. Buffalo wins a tiebreaker with Ball State because it beat the Cardinals. And Ball State wins a tiebreaker with Eastern because it swept Western.
