missed fts, ugh, but the one shot that keeps going through my mind is the 3 pt shot from memphis that bounced off the front of the rim and went in

We missed 6 free throws as well and shot 6 less than you guys. We got a couple lucky bounces, true, but I'll take it.

I too hate to see this series end. It has been a really good one. It's a shame these two didn't play twice a year every year.

The game generated so much interest that MT.org "broke" the site.

What a game- I know it doesn't mean much coming off a heart breaking loss, but your UTEP boys played lights out. No one can argue that memphis has a deeper bench and arguablly a much more talented team, yet your boys came out with alot of heart and played their @$$es off.

I hope we can fire this series back up. the miners have given us all we can handle the past five times we've played.

It's disappointing to see the Miners miss so many Ft's down the stretch, but that's how it goes... Memphis is very talented and wow, Black is a beast! We sure could use a guy like Jackson, that isn't afraid to drive the ball... I thought Tucker, tries too hard to dripple and ends up turning it over... That should be Washburn, Streeter, Cooper, MMoore, doing that... In the end, they had a shot, but Memphis, was clearly the better team. Kudos! I'll miss that cute elderly lady that always went to the games...

Major props to UTEP fans. You guys were crazy loud until the end. Flagship of nCUSA? I think so.

Who's the sheriff that escorts Pastner? He was talking a little smack to some fans, and getting a whole lot of grief from the stands. At one point, I think he challenged a guy to a fight.

This rivalry can't end. It's too much fun.

Yeah, and the brunette that walked behind the coach during said interview was hot.

Congrats Memphis on the win. It was nice to see the Don packed and loud. I guess next time both teams play will be in the NCAA's or NIT.
