The US had a good relationship with Venezuela before that peckerwood threw us out and started to snuggle up to Cuba, Iran, and Syria.

I don't rejoice in anyone's death, but Venezuela would be a really exciting place with the right leadership. Tons of potential. Not that I expect a fair election next time around, or the Venezuelan people to give up their socialism anyways.

Heir apparent is supposedly some fervent anti American also. Oh, and he's a bus driver.

Wonder if Big O will snuggle up to him as well, maybe take him a book or two as a house warming.

That is one area where I have a big disagreement with some of my fellow DU'ers. While the Chavistas are a minority there, they are a loud minority, and try to drown out anyone that criticizes St. Hugo.

They say "He can't be a dictator - he was elected. I always counter with so was Stalin, Hitler, etc. And it is easy to win an election when you rig the consitution, shut down opposition press, and kill your opponents.
