Exclamation OT: As of right now no Labor Day Classic in 2013 for Birmingham
As of right now there will be no Labor Day Classic in Birmingham for the 2013 football season. If this holds true this would be the first time since the late 80s that there has not been one at Legion Field. Miles is unable to participate in the Labor Day Classic due to new NCAA rules for D-2 schools stating now d-2 members can play a contest prior to September 5th. We were in negotiations with FAMU and the city of Birmingham about playing Sunday night, but FAMU pulled out after being invited to play in the MEAC/SWAC Challenge against Mississippi Valley State.
