With all of the gloom and doom around here, I thought I would take time to look into the short term future. Assuming we hold serve, we make the tournament at some seeding.

Prediction. Somehow someway, in either our first or second round game of the tournament, Black and Shaq will get in foul trouble (not really a surprise) and Simpson will come in and wow everybody and help us to move on to the next round. Not sure if we can get past the round of 16, but I have a strange feeling that Simpson will be a key component for a tournament win for us. Maybe all that potential will show itself for a minute.

lol well, if we are relying on stan the man to save us in the NCAA, we are in A LOT bigger trouble then I thought.

sweet 16. i believe we will win two, we have the players to do so. everyone, just about, would get off josh if he wins two games. i dont care about the seed or the matchup. i dont want to hear that crap, its time to win two in the tournament.

Until we know the seed it's hard to predict anything. If we end up at 8-9 then you hope to win that game and see what happens against the 1 seed.

If we are a 6/11 seed... Elite 8.
If we are a 7/10 seed... Sweet 16.
If we are a 8/9 seed... win first game.

Just get the first win, keep it close in the next round against the top seeds. Hopefully next year we can add a couple more pieces with additions or experience. Going to really miss DJ. A shame his four years here couldn't have been more successful. He earned it, and brings it every game. Should really name a determination or perseverance award after that guy.

Check your math. If you add the seeds they should equal 17. So 7 plays 10.

Marvin you are right. I rather deal with the bottom half of a bracket as a 7 or a 10. Thanks, charge the error to late nite posting. 03-zzz
