Anybody have any idea when the new football season schedule will be released?

usually June or early July. The opponents are already determined, but the dates and times have to be set.

Our opponent/day and November MACtion schedule will be released between now and March 15th.

The game times for B1G games (Iowa and Purdue) are typically announced in May or early June.

Game times for our EIU and MAC games typically are announced by June 15th.

It should be released Friday (tomorrow).
Just dates, no times yet.

8/31 - @ Iowa
9/14 - @ Idaho
9/21 - Eastern Illinois
9/28 - @ Purdue

There is zero chance a MAC home game will be played the week after Iowa right?

I hope there is. A week 2 bye week would be awful.

this season's schedule really SUCKS... 5 home games and only 2 Sat . games? this is really lame

If we have two Saturday games I can guarantee 5+ less season ticket purchases. We would've already purchased them (before the OB) but apparently they can't take deposits for season tickets. We might have the most short sighted athletic department ever.

It's not NIU, it's the freaking MAC. 2 Saturday games, and I give up my 4 season tix. Let the MAC reimburse them.

What an absolute effin joke, you would think the MAC is trying to keep fans away, almost like the owner in the movie Major League trying to be bring down a conference. Between the MAC leadership ineptitude and NIU leadership not caring about the future of the size of the fanbase, Id be surprised if we get 10k a game at Huskie Stadium for years to come. What a total mismanagement. Im seriously to the point where I would encourage people to NOT buy season tickets.
