BR On Iowa's Opponents
Saw this on the WMU thread. Thought you guys would like the nice words we are getting. Only a few months away, I'm pumped. I will be living in Dallas by this time but my buddies who are graduating with me this semester have already planned this trip. Should be a good NIU contingent at this game. I know there's about 10-15 of guys who are graduating this May who are going for sure.

Just how bad is BR? To the CFN level bad? Its very close. They have about 3 or 4 Iowa stories out right and 2 of them have Iowa as the likely victor and this one has NIU. I guess the strategy is to put stories out covering all the possible scenarios and you will get both fan bases to like your stories. CFN also engages in this tactic. What sucks about Iowa is they really really string out the visiting fans, to the point that its hard to notice they are there. Even with sold out allotment, they split the visitors up so much, NIU fans wont be noticeable. If I remember they string out a large group in the first few rows down the sidelines.

Ya, they are about 5 rows up front next to the south endzone I believe. Then they throw you all over the place. My dad and I went to the Northern Iowa game this year there and the purple was about 20 ppl in one area and then littered around the rest. I wore all my NIU stuff, got a hard time. They really are a-holes out there. Nothing like 60,000 people without college degrees talking smack.

Don't forget that they're also drunk, ugly, and smell like pig feces.

+1
Been to all 3 Iowa games and many other BIG games.
They are the worst by far and exactly as you described above. Classless.
