New twist on Manti T'eo...if you listened to Pat O'Brien today....
...w/o saying it directly, he alluded (very strongly) to him being gay.
I am not going to dig up the old thread, but I pointed that out when the faux g/f story broke.
I am not trying to stir the pot. I am okay with the choices people make regarding their sexuality....it's just part of our participation in evolution.
IMO, this is getting ready to go full stream a-head, and I wanted to be on record for my position on this and get the balls rolling....sorry, just couldn't resist that one.

I've seen several articles lately questioning his sexuality and even saying that some teams, in the states that allow it, will ask him before deciding whether to draft him.

To the average person, no. To NFL teams with many homophobic players in their locker rooms, yes.
That is getting ready to change whether one likes or not...no NFL player has ever admitted being homosexual until after their time had passed (and I think it was only one)....this is a big deal for the players....there have always been gays in the NFL...they know it....but they want to keep that, "don't ask, don't tell" mentality intact....ain't gonna happen.
I predict T'eo comes out soon...100 years from now, nobody will care. 140 years ago, show-down draws were common to end a disagreement. We live in interesting times that our grand-grand-grand children will laugh at just like we do at those that preceded us because of their thought process, religion, and culture. It is actually quite interesting...to me at least as I am viewing this strictly from a sociological viewpoint.

Well if he is gay then the straight guys should get the right to shower and dress without him being around. If I were a player in that situation, thats what I would prefer.

It sure would matter to me. I wouldnt want to shower and share a dressing room with a guy that is gay.
You most likely have....that is part of the point...and why would you care anyway unless you would like it? i mean that seriously. Why would it matter? If a girl walked in on you naked, would you go turtle?

That sounds like a personal problem.
Maybe its a personal problem for you. Its not a personal problem for me, its my perference. Whether you like it or not. It would be my right to NOT have to shower or share a dressing room with any guy that is gay. If anything, its the gay guy that would have a "personal problem" if he didnt like my view.
