Delaware is just too snooty for the Sun Belt. Not to mention their endowment is $1 billion. With that, they are a geographic outlier. I just don't see it happening and don't see the western teams allowing a shift almost to the northeast/Philadelphia market.

GA Southern and App to get to 9
Add NMSU and JMU if you want 11
The 12th is the tough one. Is this where Idaho as football only comes into play?

The same could be said about the Michigan team App beat. To be fair, when a huge underdog beats a big guy early in the season, it can cause a downward spiral for the season.

With all that said, people forget that there was another top 25 win last season to a team much closer to finishing in the top 25 when stAte beat Kent State last year in the Godaddy bowl. It's not as sexy as a win over an AQ school, but it was every bit as good as the Arkansas win.

Not true, that Michigan team went 10-3, beat a Tebow led UF team in the capital one bowl and finished ranked 12th, big difference.

That win over Kent St was a much more quality win.

I stand corrected. I thought for some reason thought that Michigan team was the one who went 3-9 the next season.

I'm sorry, but if you're extending football onlys, you need to give that as an option to more than Idaho. Jmu would take the sbc more seriously if it were only football.

If James Madison would take a football only for a couple of years the Sun Belt ought to consider it if they are offering that to some other teams, but if it is Idaho I can really see that since Oly sports going to Moscow would be really expensive.

Football only would only be offered for the purpose of maintaining FBS status if SB loses a few more teams.

No reason to invite anyone football only. Frankly, our Olympic Sports will need them more than football will. Its the Olympic Sports which are getting hit the worst right now. We can replace what we've lost in football.

Sounds as if football only will not be offered to any team then like NMSU or Idaho. Could not imagine any offer to Idaho that would be anything but football only so guess they would never receive an offer.

Yeah but it would be fun beating up on Delaware University each year. Joe Biden graduated from there and goes to some of the games.

Damn you're an angry person. I know I can be a dick but it just seeps through your pores. You would actually get satisfaction from beating Delaware if only because Joe Biden went there?

You need to talk to someone. I'm serious about that as well.

I gave up golf.
Uncle Joe going there is just additional topping. It's fun to watch him at UD games really get into it the way that only he can.

I'd get satisfaction if MT beat Delaware for the same reason Apps. Sounds like as good a reason as any other.

Obviously some posters do not see the humor in getting Biden upset.

After losing to mcnese at home, MTSU has a 5 year gag order against talking FCS smack. And don't forget we are ranked ahead of you last year in Sagarin rankings event with the 63 scholarship limit. I was looking forward to dominating MTSU again like we used to when you were FCS, but I guess you guys lucked out.
