Just to clarify, Dayton has the erstwhile "play in" games at their site. The NCAA has now renamed those as "first round" games.

Hopefully our Tigers will bypass the "first round" and begin play in the second round. Those games are not in Dayton.

Actually...there are "2nd" and "3rd" round games in Dayton this year.

^^This^^

The "play-in" games are in Dayton every year, but this year they also are a host site for 2nd and 3rd round games. Like Columbus last year they are trying to schedule tournament sites close to Dayton to minimize travel from Dayton for "play-in" winners to their 2nd and 3rd round destination.

Can't get much closer to Dayton than Dayton!

Just needed the structure JP gave him.

It's been awesome to watch. I have to admit I was (like most) skeptical. I'm happy to be proven wrong (and glad to have kept my opinions to myself!)

It is amazing what structure and consistency can do for a young man. I am very proud of how JP has taken him on and how Geron has responded. Whether he scores 5 or 25 you know he played as hard as he could!

I know when a player has a lot of fans and family come to the game, the player doesn't play too well, and in fact very badly sometimes. I'm hoping this is not the case here.

I meant to say a lot of times. It sounded like I was saying all the time. My bad.

Sometimes when a player has fam & friends in the crowd he tries to do too much. So i see what you meant. Hopefully this motivated GJ to play his best ball as a Tiger. We shall see in a few hours, Go Tigers!

Then I apologize to the poster who said that. Old folks forget stuff sometimes. I did.

Yeah, I did know that Dayton was a site and I forgot. But, Lexington Ky is our closest site. Louisville will be probably be there. Ky can't play at their home arena, even if they do make the field. it would be a reward for Louisville if they are a good seed.

I guess you didn't notice Shaq play in front of his dad the last game, or the times he has played with his mom in the Forum, or when Chris played in front of his mom recently.

Shaw knows he has to play well or he may see his mom in one of his classes next year. Momma has put the fear of God into him.
