Fear not, Sir Turtle. Penn State (1-35-1) will provide the annual beating and you can learn to develop a rivalry with Rutgers (5-4).

That's NOTHING... wait 'til the Terps start playing Ohio State and Michigan every year; talk about a beat-down?

Wow, that's crazy. I suspect they'll pick up a few wins over the next half decade.

Nobody is under the impression that we are going to the B1G to be competitive in football.

Indeed witht the sanctions UMD should be able to pick up a few wins against Pedo State.

Michigan and Ohio State, that is different...

See, that is the difference between Maryland and Rutgers. Maryland fans know they are going for the money and are under no delusions. Rutgers fans think they will be wiping the floor with tOSU, PSU and Michigan.

RE: Schedules released today!
Funny thing about the expansion process in the ACC was Loh and Maryland was almost always at the forefront. Guys lets increase the exit fee, hey guys lets look at adding Pitt and WVU (which the ACC ultimately changed to Syracuse). I thought it was awfully suspicious when I heard Maryland was the other vote against the exit fee, because i personally know how he always advocated for the 20 million one before that. For some reason though if we added WVU I still doubt Maryland would have stayed,

If we (the ACC) added WVU, I would have been the first to want to leave. I loathe that they befoul our schedule year after year.

Were all of Morgantown to be sucked into a collapsed mine shaft, I'd rush to the scene just to listen to the sweet sounds of the earth choking it down.

Also, whats up with UVA scheduling these teams from the west... hearing Boise next?

I hope so. Preferably at noon or 1pm. Then I'll be able to watch games all day Saturday and catch all the prime time game Friday.

It's OK. You will be to the B1G what the entire NC contingent in the ACC is to Clemson. A punching bag.

I have a feeling it will be harder to recruit local kids for basketball. The Big 10 is having a great year, but those Baltimore and DC kids are entering a new world.
