about your zone. In the first half, we did a fabulous job of getting into the middle of your zone. Once we did, yall didnt close down quick enough to prevent the move to the basket or the kickout for an open three. In the second half, USM did a much better job of closing down Tarik or Shaq when they recieved the pass in the high post. As a result, you slowed our offense down dramatically.

I am guessing to see if that would have a bigger impact. I mean, the latter really didn't work either.

I wouldn't be surprised if he goes true man and substitutes like crazy if we play them in the CCG.

Ultimately, we have to slow them down in transition. I believe he has to abandon the full court pressure against them. They are that good.

Regardless, nobody in the nation could've beaten them today at their house with them shooting over 50% outside the stripe. They also pass better than any team I have watched this year.

Great time in Memphis, basketball team is just head & shoulders better than USM.

25 assists on 29 baskets. 5 players with more than 3 assists. Before the game we were 9th in the country in assists.

Attendance wise, great crowd!

Unless I was missing something, I think it would serve Memphis even more if at least part of student section was court-side. Very few college teams can compete with the Fed Ex forum as a venue.

Memphis can do what USM does, but only with better athletes. Memphis has to have one of the more athletic teams in the nation.

We lost by about what I figured we would lose by.
