8 Div games, one cross game. 4 team conference playoff. 3 OOC games. Semi finals on 1/1. Done ****ing deal.

Why would the SEC bring in Clemson when they already have USC? Clemson is no FSU which is a national name that gets a ton of respect from the TV folk in regards to nationally televised games. WVU is a new state and a school that fits in with the SEC like a cousin with benefits.

I still think GTech, Clemson, FSU, Miami would all be better options for them. All bigger names than WVU, and Morgantown isn't exactly a media hub. Just a matter of picking and choosing.

I think the setup for the Pac and B1G would be perfect as laid out. Only thing is the B1G will want to dump Duke for GTech. In that scenario:

B1G: UVa, GTech, UNC, ND
SEC: VTech, NCSU, FSU, Clemson

Aside from wishful thinking, I don't see the best of the rest forming an 18 team conference because the value isn't there:

ACC: UConn, BC, Cuse, Pitt, WVU, Duke, WF, Miami, Temple, UC, UL, (Navy)

Coastal: Navy, Miami, BC, WVU, Pitt, Temple
Atlantic: Duke, WF, Cuse, UConn, UC, UL

SWC: USF, UCF, ECU, Memphis, Baylor, Houston, ISU, TCU, Tulane, Tulsa

There needs to be a national airport meeting to sort everything out and make proposals that make more sense. Pretty soon half the colleges in the country are going to be passing each other 1500 miles from home to play a school thirty miles from the two that passed each other.
