MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Ethan Gross had three hits and three RBI as Memphis (4-3) completed a three-game sweep of Missouri (0-6) with an 8-2 victory Sunday at FedExPark. Memphis scored five insurance runs in the eighth to ice the first sweep of an SEC opponent since 1981....

Beautiful day at FedEx Park and great fun to watch our team complete a sweep against an SEC team (last year's Big 12 champions). Too bad more of our fans did not come out - hard to blame them though considering that the local media did not once announce an upcoming game. Inexcusable.

i heard from some baseball fans that our tram wears light blue on Sunday games...the fans were probably just protesting the wring colors...

they only wear the baby blues on "sweep Sunday"...the guys love wearing the baby blues...mostly because it means they have already clenched the series...Go Tigers!
