The complete amateur behavior by a TU employee who came on here and tried to whitewash his mistakes gave me a nice bump in traffic today.

It's the least we could do since all this chatter has caused the University of Toledo football promo to go viral. It now has more views than any video on the internet ever.

Im sorry I thought I said past ten year or past 50... Not 15 because, well, thats what works for you..

You're wrong dumba**. You didn't say only 10 or 50 years (because, well, that works for you). You used 10 or 50 years as an example. You must not be able to understand your own writing.

Hey sally... People can frame a stat anyway they want and have it be "technically* true. What Toledo did was down right lie. And now what you're doing is wetting your pants and screaming that everyone else spit something in your lap.

Fact is Miami is hands down the best MAC football team of all time by just about every measure there is..

When did Toledo last win the MAC anyway?

How can you have fewer MAC titles than Miami and be a decade removed from actually winning the damn conference and cling to the notion that you are the best team with the best tradition in the MAC...

Who is sally?

Well you're acting like a seven year old girl, so I thought I would just name you.

You know what... Scratch that! my seven year old's hissyfits are nowhere near as bad as you.

Quote:And I didn't 'frame' that UT has the most win and highest win% over the last 15 & 20 years because it is a fact. You can go ahead and look up who had the most wins and best win% the past 25, 30, 35, etc., I spent enough time looking up 15 & 20.

CMU has more MAC titles in the past decade than any MAC team. UB Beat the highest ranked team in a MAC Championship Game, Ohio has more divisional titles than anyone in the past five years, NIU is the only BCS Buster in MAC History. So either Ohio, CMU, NIU, or Buffalo are clearly the best team in the MAC...

Or we can all just be Honest and say there is not a single MAC team that would not trade histories with Miami.

Here is a rule of thumb. If you have to scope your frame or reference to 15 years it's a meaningless stat in football.. All Time or decade are all that should really cound.

Quote:What Miami did in their video was a down right lie. They are claiming they hold certain distinctions in all of NCAA Football history, when it only applies to FBS.

You mean like Toledo claiming to have more conference titles than anyone?

Quote:Now go write another whiny article for BSNAtion that no one looks at.

"BSNation" than gets more traffic than FOX Sports Net, and the articles published on team sites are put up on CBSSports and SI.Com.

But putting the platform aside, yes I am a total amateur. Because in real life I am an Engineer. But I started on blogspot for fun and now make a little bit of cash to do something which I used to do for free.

Being a Buffalo site my traffic is light, only about 20K visits a month which puts me in the bottom 25% or so of all sites. I get to work with some great writers like the guys at EDSBS, and some of the bigger blogs that pull in tens of thousands of hits a day.

OU Bobcats, haven't beaten Toledo since about 1988.

A gratuitous dig at OU while responding to a Bulls fan?

RE: Miami of Ohio football - Liars and miscreants
That video was played just before the team took the field in the 2011 season. We were defending MAC champs at the time. The best part of the video for me is the voice of Bo Shembechler ( he was coaching Miami in my first two years of school) saying "No coach is more important than the team, no player is more important than the team, the team, the team, the team".
