I just hope the defections on the coaching staff were forced to get some better candidates in place. Doubt that was the case with RB coach. Need to have a leader at QB, that is the biggest need. Not so sure the OC wasn't a bit handcuffed with TO in the big games. Thought he was over that hurdle with the BG game - there he won the game despite the OC going conservative early.

I wonder what stood out so much for Weiland to stay home without a scholarship. Kid definitely deserves a full ride...smart on and off the field.

By my count, we've signed something like 20 defensive backs in the last four recruiting classes. Seems like we should be able to find four that can play, or at least find coaches who can teach them.

Looks like NIU and Toledo have the 2nd and 3rd best classes in the MAC. Should be more fun between the two teams for years to come. Been a lot of good games the past decade, and pretty similar talent. At least that's my thought process.

One MAC team has a guy named Lionking. Yeah, seems kind of out of line.

What happened at Western Michigan? That's one of the better recruiting classes I've seen from a MAC school. I thought Toledo's looked okay.

True meaning = most likely no playing time. Coaches have large egos and will play scholly's they recruited to the end. 2010 had over 20 walk on with none left. Empty promises, I know one from 2010 had 2 MAC offers took preferred walk on at UT because of promises made by former coach, complete waste of talent. Worst part was I helped talk him into UT, it has changed a lot since the 70's. Won't ever do that again. Love Rocket Football hate the politics.

Didn't (and still don't) see the qualifier that states which person is being asked the question. However, since there is demonstrably only one answer , why yes, I do speak for everyone here. Good to see you picked up on that.

Polk County Duo:

Even the snow couldn't sway Brinson and Riley.

The Lake Wales duo visited snowy Toledo, Ohio, during the weekend of Jan. 31.

"When I went on the visit up there, it felt like home because of all the young players," Riley said. "They have a young, up-and-coming team and a young coaching staff. Plus, having a teammate go up there with me makes it more comfortable."

Both plan to room together once they arrive on campus. Brinson will play cornerback while Riley expects play in a tight end and h-back role. Once an Iowa State commit, Brinson visited Indiana with Riley in October.

You know what they need to do? Make rankings that rank these classes after they've all played college ball. Don't know why they don't now!

Cornerback foolish to room with TE. Pizza never split evenly.
