Yes, I was planning to wear a black bag over my head to the men's game on Saturday and women's game on Sunday.

i think the womens program is in bigger trouble then the mens. Bennet is in her 3rd yr, I think she only has 9 players on rides, she had her MAC frosh of yr transfer. Heard its not a good envoirment. i really thought she would have success.

Sorry but WBB is not worth a buyout.

I did too. I really enjoy going to the women's games. They are quite fast-paced. There are several MAC women's teams that are very good. Unfortunately, we are not among them.

I am really starting to think there is a Convo curse. Someone needs to check if the Convo was built over some ancient graveyard. Everyone plays well in the Convo except NIU teams. I get depressed the minute I step into the Convo because I already know what the result will be 2 hours later. This weekend will be no different.

I will be at the convo tonite. The day is coming that we get 4-5k in there and it will be electric. Until then, I enjoy the beers there and hope for the best. I got my health and we went to the Orange Bowl. Not many things bring me down these days.

You got that right. The selction of beers and food at the HASF concessions area is astounding. My wife and I are looking forward to splitting one of those monster hot dogs this weekend. That sucker has to be close to a pound and comes with fries for $4.50. Top that off with a fine Belgian beer (Hoegarden) and you just can't beat it. The game itself is an afterthought.

Reminds of Patton. It must be the coaches that were head coaches at bigger schools and have huge egos.

Back on track about 2013 Football Season. ESPN.com had a small section about us today, included with Fresno and Boise. Love to see us mentioned with Boise now.

Definitely nice to see us getting some praise in the preseason previews. I was blown away by the dates that some other schools start spring practice. Army started on 2/12 and Fresno on 2/22. Army's spring game is next Friday...

OK I called this morning and let HASF know I'll be heading to the kickoff event. Hopefully it's as worth it as you guys made it seem.

That we will not pay for. If he had season tickets as well as being a HASF donor, he would have gotten free parking. Sorry, but we can't reimburse lowlife cheapskates who don't support our storied basketball program! 03-wink

Why is AF and Army on this list?

Last year they said that AF was the dark horse to go to the Rose Bowl...even thought the Rose Bowl wasn't going to pick a non-AQ. After a 6-7 season, losing their QB and RBs they pick them for this list???

...Army?....Army?...as a BCS Buster?

It will be interesting to see what the MWCC game does for the final rankings.

Ball St has a super easy OOC with @ Virginia as their only game vs an AQ opponent. Them going unbeaten into our matchup could really help attendance.

Here's a look at what some of the top teams from the non-BCS leagues, as well as the service academies, will need to address during spring practice:

So all 3 service academics are top teams?

That's not what it says.

"We might start to find out if there's an upstart out there, as several of the country's top teams from non-BCS conferences open spring practice in the coming weeks. Some teams, such as Air Force, Army and Fresno State, already have started spring drills. Other teams, such as Boise State and BYU, will wait until next month."

So your saying that mentioning Air Force and Army in this paragraph is a separate reason as the first sentence along with the title of the article?

LOL only 3 days till HASF kickoff!...03-banghead darn offseason.

I'm surprised no one posted this: I heard Shelley Binegar on 1360 am and from what it sounded like to me, season tickets are only $50, and in addition you get 50 huskie/dog bucks that can be used for parking and/or concessions. Therefore, it is a HELL of a bargain.

That is how I understood it. Therefore...get two season tickets=$100, plus free parking for the five games and $50 towards concessions. Not too shabby.

I'm sure that's not for full season tickets. Perhaps the Huskieland plan?

I do remember her saying $50 for five games plus money to pay for parking. I was shocked myself. If that's the case...no reason for people not to get season tickets.
