RE: Elections have consequences
Now he's going to show up at the Newport News shipyard to tell us that the plan he CAME UP WITH AND SIGNED INTO LAW
is a bad one and will damage our military readiness and hurt the middle class.

You can't make this **** up.

"Obama has been critical of Congress for failing to stop the automatic cuts, which Pentagon officials say will lead to significant reductions in military operations and unpaid furloughs for hundreds of thousands of civilian workers.

“If Congress allows this meat-cleaver approach to take place, it will jeopardize our military readiness; it will eviscerate job-creating investments in education and energy and medical research,” Obama said in a speech earlier this week."

This dude can't be serious. I wonder if it ever starts to hurt, talking out of both sides of your mouth so often?

Robert is retarded. He is incapable of coherent thoughts.

The Obama administration is taking the same approach that local governments do when they want to raise taxes.

At the local level when they see a shortfall of tax revenues, the 1st thing they hatchet out is police and fire protection. Do they ever scale back admin. positions/salaries? Noooooo - go right for the jugular and slash basic services. Just a local form of blackmail.

At the Federal level........ hack the military (IMO, actually it needs some reforms) and I saw where they will hack TSA airport screeners so it takes up to 3 hrs to get thru the line. Will they get rid of any bureaucrats..........NOPE - Just front line stuff in an attempt to blackmail the american citizens into forking over more dollars for them to spend.

I hope the Republican house lets what Obama created take place and Barry chokes on what he signed up for....... the world will not end as we know it.

RE: Elections have consequences
What is very telling is that Obama dinged defense spending convinced that the right's sacred cow would keep him from having to carry out his admittedly bad idea.

Increasingly, the public seems to be saying, "Meh. Do what you gotta do."
