Big East vs. Mountain West: Which has better long-term prospects?
Thought this article was interesting given some of the debates in other threads.

MWC should be more stable, the only conference that would poach a MWC team in the 12 PAC and if they go after anybody it will be one of the Texahoma schools.

The BE will get poached again after the B1o or SEC takes an ACC team.

MWC is better in stability for the long term however the BE will make the same if not more money due to the name and its teams markets.

Big East was great in its day but right now UConn and Cincinnati are looking for a good place to land. When they leave the Big East will be Conference USA with a different name. Mountain West is stable and has a better future. I also think San Diego State may come to their senses and return to the Mountain West since Boise State is staying put.

They already announced that they are staying in the MWC.

MWC will have 12 teams with the additions of Utah St and San Jose St and will have a championship game at the best teams home field.

What a novel idea. We are MUCH better off playing in 1/10 full stadiums [/sarcasm]
