I'll take the win, but I wish it could have been against a quality opponent.

Congrats. Now that series is over I'll actually pull for Marshall to do well in the future. May even catch a game in Boca Raton if the timing works out.

Southern Miss couldn't win there. UCF has been a good home team all season, so I'd call that a good win.

Thanks!! As a Tampa resident and Marshall grad, I traveled to Orlando every other year to cheer on the Herd. Unfortunately, UCF owned us in CUSA as we owned UCF in the MAC, but that's ancient history now. I'll miss the series. Your fans were always very cordial to myentire green be-decked family when we visited. Although that rocking stadium of your scared the devil out if me!

Best of luck to you, Feel free to stomp on USF every year. For those CUSA fans who think that UCF had an attitude, spend some time with Bulls fans, who haven't done much themselves. You'll love the Knights after that!

Actually we have owned them in Basketball. The series was at 8-5 before this season, we are now 10-5 against them.

Plus Donnie Ball isn't that hard to figure out. You either feast at the 3 point line or dump it in down low the whole game. Ive never seen him develop a guy with a 10-15 foot jumper. Closest he ever come to that was Pitts.

Did UCF ever play basketball in the MAC? I thought that they were in the Atlantic Sun.

Deandre Kane is both. He doesnt suck at basketball but he goes from really good at basketball to a Tech monster in no time flat.

Actually Kane has matured a lot this season. He is becoming a team leader, not just a points leader. He has taken a position shift out of necessity, lowered the hot-headedness and opened up his game.

Hopefully, we get a true point in next year, so the kid can go back to being a scoring threat for us.
