I'm just expecting a generic "We discussed which schools we want to look at and will be reviewing them over the coming months".

If they announce any schools invitations I will be very surprised. And hopefully excited. :)

There was someone saying that the BE would announce Tulsa by Monday....of course you see anything and everything on the boards, but if CUSA knows for sure it could be.

It wouldn't exactly be unprecedented for a departing school to be strong armed into announcing their departure sooner than they were ready to.

The conference will not announce the departure of a school before it does. How many announcements have you seen on a Saturday? All will come out after the tournament.

Could it be, just maybe, a press conference to discuss the beginning of the basketball tournaments?

Probably is about beginning of the tourney, but I'm sure he will be asked about realignment

why would he have presser about the conference beginning a day after the first round? Plus, on a saturday.

Hopefully, it's a new television deal.

Don't expect to learn anything tomorrow.

Will the SBC be webcasting this on the conference website. It would be easy and cheap to do. Something that needs to be. There is no reason why the early games of the tourney are not being webcast.

New Television deal? haha. I gotta say, I'd be dang near getting a KB tattoo if he was announcing a new television deal that was more lucrative than the last one. (note: I say dang near because it'd be just my luck it was a television deal, and I'd be forced by honor to get a KB tattoo).

And I'd do backflips if this was the rebranding press conference. I'm not holding my breath though.

I think it is just a "rah rah rah, the future is bright" speech to encourage the fans that the conference future is still so bright we need shades. I wager we get nothing of real substance from his remarks.
