last night, belmont beat siue 73-43 to win the regular season ovc title and secure a first round bye and the #1 seed in the ovc playoffs. this is the 4th time in the last 4 years that belmont has won a regular season conference title

belmonts home win streak now sits at 19 which is #3 in the nation, right behind #2 marquette (whose streak might end vs. notre dame) and #1 south dakota state, who belmont smacked earlier this season 76-49
