I don't want Miami only on the fact that they are senior laden. I think we matchup well with them athletically.

Memphis in my opinion would matchup with any one in the top ten, except Michigan and Syracuse. I'm leery because of the potent zone defenses that both teams possesses. Beyond that Memphis has speed and athleticism that most of the teams have not seen before.

Three teams on ESPN tonight, Indiana, Michigan State and Miami, are three teams that would love to see Memphis in their bracket.

I am undecided about how we would do against some teams. Wisconsin, for instance, has a bunch of farm boys on their team. We would be way more athletic than them but would we let them control the tempo.

Could those farm boys take the on ball pressure and the shot blocking capability of the Tigers?
The Tigers are ranked Top Ten with assist and steals and top 5 with Blocks. No one from the big Ten is within 50 blocks shots of Memphis other than Minnesota.

Slow down teams can control the tempo as long as they are disciplined, but if they make a few mistakes they can get in a hole that they can't climb out of.

I would not relish playing Oregon, although I think we would beat them. They play a lot like us, fast and athletic. But they are very young.

The team I fear the most is the one in the mirror. I just want us to bring our A game with focus and energy every game.

Indiana and Michigan State proved why they're in the top 5. Miami doing a great job of proving me wrong. Still trying to figure them out.

Relative to their ranking; Indiana, Florida, Michigan, Wisconsin, Syracuse.

We'll all be cryin' in our beer. We're better talent wise than UL. The problem is we're not UL. THey'll make sure we lose. Whoever "they" is.

I'd just rather we avoid big names for the tournament. We have to re-establish ourselves. We'll get there. We do have some history on our side. Not Louisville history, but pretty close.

Indiana looked good tonight. They haven't won in over 20 years at MichSt. I still didn't see anything Memphis couldn't beat. We just have to stay focused. No agendas, no bull****! We really do have the talent. None of these teams is better than us talent wise.

It seems that almost every team in the SEC is a fraud. Including Florida...Maybe parity in a better word. Lol

Because they had a close game with a really good Virginia team?

Maybe if they lost like Indiana did last week they would look better?

Traditional power- Indiana- guts out close wins (not referring to MSU).
Non-traditional power Miami gets lucky.

Please.

Zeller will be a problem for all of our bigs. If Geron guards Oladipo, it will be a war. If Adonis guards him it will be a bloodbath. Indiana is small at the 1/2/3 so that would work to our advantage.

Indiana was ranked #1 preseason; Miami #44. I think it is (was) normal to question whether or not Miami is for real. They are a mind boggling 14-2 against the top 100 of the RPI, so obviously they are. Having said that; a lot of their name opponents (Clemson, Boston College, Virginia, Georgia Tech, Wake Forest) aren't very good at all.
