Southern Miss gets the sweep. Hopefully we can keep the momentum as we play another SEC game Tuesday at Alabama. Not bad attendance for the weekend either:

After not getting a run in both the 6th and 7th inning, it wasn't looking good. Then Pete Taylor Park magic showed up in the 8th. Great win and a great series sweep against a top program. If our bats get going, look out.I think we have the potential to have one of our best pitching staffs.

Speaks volumes that we have yet to see highly-touted guys like Livingston and Lowery this season.
Then I saw Saturday we won again.. I thought if we went 2 for 3, I'd be ok with it.. But to sweep, I'm happy.. It's nice to start out against a SEC team and sweep them. I just wish it was Ole Miss or MSU, ha.
