Tigers Women's tennis team upset Kansas State last night
We went to see the lady Tigers tennis team upset #42 Kansas State last night at the University Club. This win will probably move the Tigers ranking to the highest in program history. They are currently at #51.
Last year they finished 16-5 with all 5 losses coming to teams ranked #26 or higher and finished the season ranked #60. Their were ranked as high as #51, which, at the time, was the best in program history.
If you like tennis at all, you need to go check out a match sometime. It's not like pro or junior tennis, where everyone sits quietly. The fans, teammates and even the players on court are all shouting encouragement to each other. It's quite lively and entertaining.
The men's team is also doing well and are currently ranked #32.
