Ballparks of the Sun Belt Conference
With the college baseball season starting today, I thought I'd showcase the ballparks of the SBC; there are many really nice ones in this conference. Excluding MT's, I like USA's and ULM's the most, but I also like the outfield walls at Troy and WKU.

Cajuns have the best, IMO.

The atmosphere supercedes the amenities.

Hopefully the Cajuns will be a little more competitive this season. It is (normally) a fun place to watch a game. I think even the opposing players enjoy it, especially during non-conference weekends when they are stuffed full of Cajun food after the games. 04-cheers I think the Tigue will eventually get an upgrade, but it is pretty decent now.

Hoping I can make it to the tourney for a final farewell to the Cajuns. I will miss Lafayette, and hope you all can join us soon.

the nick is fun, but nothing beats watching our rivalry games at BG ballpark. Selling out 2 games a year w/ upped ticket prices is petty sweet. not to mention beating UCK by 16....

WOW, Ga St is pretty bad. A little shocked there wasn't more to the FAU/FIU stadiums.

I like Troy's outfield scoreboard/wall the best...stands are really stands everywhere else.

Yeah. The only thing I would salvage is the part of the outfield wall that came from Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium. Same wall that Hank Aaron hit number 715 over. They really need to get off the pot and get the new ballpark built.

We just added a batter's eye in center field and installed the Daktronics scoreboard that used to be at the football stadium.
We also have a caboose suite on the first base line so the pictures are at least 2 Yrs old.
I have pics from last season of the suite that I'll post later.

Pictures 2, 3, and 4 for USA do not fully load on my phone, but USA's pics seem a little outdated. We have a new outfield wall and new "Kittrell's Corner" that don't appear to be shown in these pics. Can't see the scoreboard to see if it's the current one. Do you keep track of the pictures yourself, Tyler?

Nope, just found them online and made an album for each stadium. These are pictures 2,3, and 4 from the original link (can you see them?):

No Tyler, the pics are mostly grey with only the very tops (the sky) actually loaded! In my free time I might see if I can find some more recent pictures and send your way.

Which is why we are building a brand new stadium that is worthy of the great stadiums in the Sun Belt.

im not hating, we all have terrible facilities in need of renovation.

UL has the Cajundome
MTSU has the Glass Shack, Floyd Stadium...
WKU has tennis (coming next year), the nick is so so...

I remember that in a parking lot across from Turner field, there was a little cut out of the outfield fence where Aaron hit #715. Is that still there?

Yeah yeah yea, we all know that FAU sucks, so no need to point it out. The only thing new to talk about is more proposed renovations and the new SBC championship flags (we're running out of space on the outfield wall)
