2. Lebo really disappointed me tonite. First he has a timeout and the ball with around 20 seconds left to go and a chance to win the game and he doesn't take the timeout to set a play and the game goes to overtime. Then he does it again in overtime. Another timeout left, has the ball with a chance to tie or win and doesn't use it to set the play and ECU looks confused coming down the court.

3. We can't stop anybody from driving and throwing up a prayer and when it rims out or misses all together we can't seem to get a defensive rebound to save our lives.

It was like watching the UTEP game @ home all over again. I'm thoroughly disgusted at what happened tonite and if that's harsh so be it. We were winning the entire game and between the officials and Lebo, we end up losing.

Having said all that..............Congratulations to Southern Miss. At the end of the day you get another victory.

Number 3 was the main reason...you guys gave up the inside all night....that has to change.

Agree with Number 2 as well....in a tight game like this one, you have to reiterate the plan to your players and calm them down as a coach.

Number 1....can be said about most close games that don't go in your favor. Sure there may have been a few bad calls, but it wasn't the reason. It's CUSA officiating...nuff said.

I would add a number 4 and say your guys were tired down the stretch and the methodology that got you lead (the threes) slowed down as well in the end.

It's great to get the come from behind win, but it's acknowledged it's very unsettling to lose a game you were ahead for much of regulation.
It's happens to everyone, but it's still a tough pill to swallow.
ECU's going to be tough come tourney time.

Call it what you will. I was there. Fact is you only included the part I wrote about the officials and not the parts about Lebo's coaching or our team's inability to stop uncontested drives to the lane or lack of defensive rebounding. So if I'm bitchin, its not just about the part you're focused on. Play nice.

Honest to God I knew USM was going to win when we got ECU on the 10-second backcourt call. They took two timeouts and had the ball at the half court line and still couldn't get it passed half court. That should never happen at home.

It takes a man to congratulate your opponent on the win without any kind of excuse attached. Of course in basketball, I realize ECU never loses because the other team simply beat them.

Tough loss for the Pirates. Just too much USM pressure and foul trouble for key ECU players to seal the deal.

Sort of, tremendous effort at the end, but it should have never come to that, should have won this one in regulation.

I'm proud of the team, but we've been having a lot of close ones lately. I guess it's understandable with Craig out for the season.

Looks like another routine victory for the Golden Eagles..lol...super comeback by a team seemingly on the ropes today.
