Well we know the SEC will be the 3rd and 2nd to last weeks of the season as they normally do.

Will raise the price in terms of dollars paid and leverage to get a Big 10 team at home. Good news.

The B1G is going to either a nine or ten game league schedule.

They're going to a nine-game league schedule... and then you know they're going to try to schedule the other "lower" BCS teams... this is NOT a good thing for anyone in the Go5...

Everyone just jack up the price, they can afford it. I'm sure EMU would undercut everyone though.

RE: Big 10 agrees to not schedule 1-AAs/FCS anymore
The worst possible thing that could happen is the Big Ten goes to a ten game conference schedule (five home and five away), enters into a yearly scheduling agreement with the Pac12, and then others imitate them. The only way anyone who isn't in one of the big five gets a game against them at that point is as a guarantee game with a price tag that is set by the big boys. The game at the end of the year then becomes nothing more than an anomoly if the group of five team wins.

After they lost to all those MAC teams, this doesn't surprise me. There are some pretty OK teams in the MAC, as well as in several other FCS conferences.

9 games works for either 14 or 16 team league. It also & just by saying they wont play lower level schools ppl it will have an impact in the polls.

The MAC is not an FCS conference. They are an FBS conference, and this past year they were probably the best non-AQ conference in all FBS.

One thing. . . . If other conferences follow suit, there could be a mass exodus of FCS schools looking to jump up. Those FCS schools depend on those big paycheck games to fund their programs. So for many of them, it could become "move up or die."

Not you too, DaSaintFan. All of FBS is BCS. The “lower” BCS teams would be the Go5. This can only benefit the Go5 as it will mean fewer AQ teams getting bowl bids.
