OT: National Championships aside, Bama is still Bama, Thug U.....
"According to a police report acquired by at least two Alabama newspapers, Williams admitted to investigators that he physically assaulted another man "and rendered him unconscious" on campus Monday morning at 3:21 CT at Bryant Hall dormitory. Williams then stole a credit card and used it for several purchases, according to police. The report said it was used at a vending machine.

Defensive end D.J. Pettway (second-degree robbery), linebacker Tyler Hayes (second-degree robbery) and running back Brent Calloway (fraudulent use of a credit card) were arrested Monday along with Williams, according to online records from the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office."

damn chief, you are on a roll today...lmao....gotta be careful with this one...AA was arrested not too long ago....'course he's a black bear now thank god...over the years, we have had others fall by the wayside as I am certain most programs have as well....is unfortunately the nature of the beast. Bama's success is the reason it gets headlines. ...just sayin'

However, can't wait for the proverbial, "this is why players should be paid" post.

Bama already pays their players. It can only be because payroll was lost in the mail & new "checks" haven't been cut yet

Saban probably had them arrested, because he needed to free up some scholarship space for his new signees. He's oversigned every year he's been there.

He had 17 seniors and three declared so he oversigned by six this year. He's probably already told a couple to transfer and these four will get him back to his compliance number.

I saw that exact same reasoning on another SEC board.

I was wondering at the courage needed for police to arrest Bama players.
