OT: We have a sacred duty to shame these mercilessly lest they spread...
I wake up this morning to this alternate home jersey unveiled by Golden State yesterday and to be debuted on Feb 22nd. Adidas calls it the "adizero" due to it being 26 percent lighter than standard jerseys. Ok, fine. But it is short-sleeved (making the Warriors the first team in modern NBA history to play in anything other than a tank top), moisture wicking (of course), and - worst of all - compression fabric. If these catch on and Nike or Adidas decides at some point to pair them with 70s/80s short-shorts, every basketball game would be impossible to watch (although female attendance would probably triple):

Looking at them again, I'm not sure the short-shorts would look worse than these compression tops with today's baggy bottoms...

They do remember the Pittsburgh Pirates' uniforms from the 70's right?

Don't duplicate them, Golden State.

I actually like the short sleeve jersey. Would pass on the shorts though.

Don't mind them at all. I wouldn't wear the striped shorts, but hey! Anything to perform!

I MIGHT purchase this as a T-shirt if it were to fit more loosely. It's not bad-looking like that. The shorts gotta go. As a uniform? 03-puke

This is, IMO, almost as bad as what's been done to most of the WNBA jerseys with the corporate logo instead of the team name on the front of them...I really hate that, it's disgusting to me!

The shirt and shorts together are awful . . . but I don't mind the short sleeves at all. Half of the players anymore wear a t-shirt under their tank tops anyway. But they need a serious redesign. Shiny pinstripe shorts do not go with flat yellow shirts. Baggy shorts do not go with tight shirts. Just make the shirts like the tank tops but with sleeves, and it will be all right.

Looking back over that post, it seems kind of gay. I promise, I do like women. I mean, woman (my wife).

That's supposed to be the "revolutionary" part of adidas' design. According to them, players said they didn't mind sleeves but they got in the way of shooting/rebounding...hence, adidas used the compression fabric which moves with the chest/arms and doesn't hinder movement.

Maybe, when those that go to buy a jersey, decide to shed 40 or so pounds before they do it.....just a thought for the most overweight nation...and I live in the most overweight state....

I will say this....the combo solid with striped shorts is something Liberache would've shunned.....that is just plain ugly

It wouldn't be so bad if the yellows matched

A lot of fail in those uniforms. Keep the regular ones and just wear a compression shirt underneath. What's up with the two different yellows...
