I just thought we would be a lot better this year. The loss if Gate hurts more than I thought it would, we have zero offensive presence in the post. Couple that with poor ball movement and desperation threes- and this team is handicapped offensively. Did I miss something, why didnt JJ play any in the second half- he had a nice slash to the basket where he scored. Rubles was pathetic with his finishes. In order to win right now, we have to stop turning the ball over and start making some of these incredibly deep threes. Sheese.

I still like the Cats chances of making the tournament tournament a picking up 3 to 4 more conference games. But this season is reminding me of the Lance's only year here when DV was suppose to be leader. The Lenny Strokes led team that won 17 games was equally hard to watch.

One huge problem this year is health: Cash isn't right, Jackson hasn't been healthy for the start of the season, Davis is an injury redshirt.
Another huge problem is the lack of consistent play out of the five spot. When Jackson heals up, I hope to see him and Rubles play the four and the five spot. The sad thing with this team is that Gaines looks like our best true center.
