Oh, I didn't miss it, I'm just willing to accept that our team is going to turn the ball over multiple times a game. It'd be great if we could take a good shot every time, never foul, never miss, and never turn it over, but I don't live in fairy tale land.

there are some things to complain about, especially in the 2nd half, but overall, i'll take it

With UCF being out of postseason play, we are now in a 3-way tie with Marshall and Houston for the 7 seed. And we are only 1 game back from a first round bye! Unbelievable! Let's keep winning and see what happens.

Purifoy went 3-4 from the foul line this afternoon. He is now 52-57, for 91.2%.

He dropped 1 percentage point.

Meanwhile, Middle Tennessee hosted Troy today and won 93-41.

Memphis remained unbeaten in C-USA beating USM in Hattiesburg.

Enjoyable game, but I did think going into the stall with 8 minutes still left might have been a mistake, and was definitely boring. Had this wild urge to chant, "Dean Smith Sucks!"

Earlier on in the season I can recall they turned sloppy inside the eight minute mark, either being down by 4 and hurrying down court to toss up an ill advised shot or turning the ball over.(Being too hasty). This time they had the lead on the scoreboard and, obviously, wanted to protect the lead by using as much of the shot clock as possible on each possession to close out the remainder of the game with a safe lead. Maybe not so much of a mistake to "practice" protecting the lead in that type of situation for future reference. particularly in the conference tournament. I would much rather the team be more experienced at the stall...so to speak, now, so they will know how to handle it in conference tournament play.

If they're going to run the stall, they need to get better at draining the clock to below ten seconds, then executing a play. Intentionally running the clock is fine in that situation, but having no clue what to do with the ball when the clock hits :08 is not.

They know how to run a stall. Most of them played for Mike Davis.

Like I said, once the clock hits :08 they need to have some idea what to do with the ball.
