NIU at Buffalo
RPI ranking
http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/basketball/...=5&group=2

Buffalo 239
NIU 303
Chicago State 309

At least NIU is not the worst team in the state.
Do we waste another 2 hours watching this game?

Nope

I don't even watch home games any more. I show up, but the brown paper bag over my head seems to disrupt my view of the games.

Isn't that what it's supposed to do? At the last game I attended, I wore a black plastic garbage bag. It contained warnings that doing that could cause asphyxiation. That's exactly what I wanted it to do. Unfortunately, however, it did not work. Now I am forced to endure the rest of the season. 03-hissyfit

Really Question
Does NIU score more than the amount of snow Buffalo will get this weekend?

In feet, inches, or millimeters?

As much as I hate to say it both Grays must start. Bowie is killing the team with his turnovers and terrible free-throw shooting. Bowie and Mader can sub for the Grays. Nader and Bolin need to play over 30 mins, if they aren't in foul trouble. I am a fan of Monty, but I believe he is playing too many guys.

niu2222 I agree with you. I thought he would cut the rotation once the conference started.

Tommie McCune was kicked off Oaklands bball team a couple weeks ago. McCune was here and set to join the NIU team until Compher said no. McCune was at West Virginia for part of his freshman year. He played in highschool for NIU assistant coach Dawkins. Ex-NIU player Qua Ford also played for Dawkins. 40% of the college players do not finish with the school they played their soph year with.

I wonder why JC said no? Not smart of MM and Dawkins not to run the transfer past JC before talking McCune into joining the team.

Opening line NIU 10.5 dogs. Big money coming in on NIU, line just drop
to -10.

Betting on good NIU vs. terrible NIU is crazy.

I think JJ needs more time too.

I don't have time to do any research today, but Buffalo has, in the past, run a disciplined offense that gives NIU fits. Backdoor cuts and the like, and it usually ends really badly for NIU.

However, Buffalo is struggling really badly this year, so who knows?

Well, I am planning on watching the game on the MAC site so we are guaranteed to lose. I have not watched one game on there that we have won. 03-banghead

The classic definition of insanity is repeating the same behavior and expecting different results. Since you expect them to lose again, apparently your sanity is still in tact. Be careful, though - Huskie basketball has been driving many of us crazy for a looooong time now.

Anybody who watches this game is nuts. But we all are in a classic Catch 22 problem. We are crazy for watching the game. But we are not crazy since we know we are crazy.

This looks like a 20t point loss. Team has to take a bus trip home, their flight is canceled. These guys heads are elsewhere.
