RE: Possible Football Stadium Locations (East Tennesseean Article)
Brian Noland is talking about ETSU football as a go. No hedging, he's acting like a man who knows what he wants and knows how to get it. He speaks of it as a project to go ahead and get done. Sounds to me like he's holding some aces and kings and is planning on playing them. After the TBR approves the program, it looks like there will be significant action going on around there that will mean you either get on board with him or get out of his way.

Would love that location. Knights would either explode with business or be forced to move. Not sure which one.

I already pregame @ Knights for basketball. However, with tailgating now allowing alcohol, I may just be tailgating instead...

It's not allowed but it has been insinuated that Noland will pretend he doesn't see.

P.S. Noland's vision is still excellent if you are wearing Tennessee junk though. ETSU apparel only please.

Nothing wrong with getting a pizza to-go.

As far as the booze goes... we need to convince Knights to sale growlers of their draught so that we can get shmamered from our tailgates.

Is this on all parking lots or just specified ones?

RE: Possible Football Stadium Locations (East Tennesseean Article)
There will be a specified area for tailgating - they had it for soccer games. I assume they will do something similar for football. For football, with presumably bigger crowds, they may hire Axis to walk around and keep the peace. ETSU is following the lead here from MTSU & TN Tech. Both schools are obviously in the TBR, and they both have tailgating (with alcohol, although they stated 'we look the other way'). Please spread the word on that - I'm trying as well. I know you may not attend soccer games, but there is a tailgating area now pre-game in the parking lot above the stadium.

Technically, not allowed because of TBR rules. But the powers that be will look the other way.

There's an old rule they have with the wording that does allow the TBR schools around it. Either way, they should look the other way, there's nothing better than getting alumni on campus with a few cocktails in them to get stuff built.

All I know is I will be there on gameday at 8am ready to tailgate. Hopefully kickoff is at 7pm and I haven't passed out.

Alcohol has been served in the Dome all season long.

not sure if these were posted or not, but the East Tennesseean got the correct proposals over the weekend:

if you look closely at Option 3 (next to the soccer stadium) they would be taking away the soccer practice field..just jumped out at me

I think option 1 looks the best of the three to me. The one behind Knights on the high parking lot has attractions too. The figure in option 1 has the field going east-west. Are not most football fields set up north-south?
