Would be an awesome matchup for Wrigley....

Come on Mr Phillips, reach out to Mr Compher.......let's make this happen.... HUSKIES vs. wildcats in the house that Ernie Banks built (OK, that's BS)...... the place was good enough for the Monsters of the Midway back in the day

That was before seats were added and a football field actually fit.
Playing football in baseball stadiums is a gimmicky joke - especially when
they can only play in one direction. These fools celebrate it as a succe$$, when actually its quite embarrassing.

"a football field actually fit"....no, actually it did NOT. I went to see Da Bears play at Wrigley.
It's time to think outside the box, and look at other options besides SF. I realize there's a difference in capacity, but NIU has to look at merchandising/PR opptys. Can we get a better payout? better local media coverage for a WF event? not sure , but it's worth pursuing.

How bout a football game on an aircraft terrier? Put some field turf on it and BAM! Football Field in the middle of the ocean! Ha
Don't have to worry about condensation like on a basketball court.

Yes it is. If we're gonna play in Chicago...keep doing it at Soldier Field. Playing in a baseball field and only being able to run one direction ...stupid IMO.

There will be a lot of banter about the cubs. That is until they are mathematically eliminated, which is well before football camp opens.

Oh man....I keep finding myself watching highlight clips on espn.com from the 2012 season....wish it was August already...

Side Note: It is amazing how much quicker Jordan is than the majority of the athletes on the field in all these MAC games. Can only imagine how Turner is gonna look when gets out there...

I am ready to have the "burning of the red-shirt" ceremony for Turner at Iowa City.

Oh, and I want him in the backfield with JL. I want defenses guessing who has the ball every freakin' play.

Put Akeem in the slot. You'll have TLL and Charlie Miller out there too.

Do it Roderick!
(Disclaimer: I am not an OC but I do play one on TV.)
