RE: BG at NIU
Amazing how we have moved from the lack of overall skill and the need for some skilled big men on this team to how we need more beer lines in the HASF area. This mess does not seem to have a long term solution with limited schlorships available.

It's not a lack of size. I don't think NIU is a small team at all, but the Gray twins are just really, really bad offensively. Can't finish around the rim at all. One of them blew a dunk against BG.

I have seen a few blown dunks recently. How in the hell can you be consistent in blowing dunks?

RE: BG at NIU
Sorry7, there is a lack of size on this team. The Grays are 6'6 with a bad hair dew and NIU is calling it 6'8. Next year Mader or Rakocevic must start at the center position. The Grays can sub each other at power forward. Nader and Bolin at the wings and hopefully Highsmith at pg. With this line-up, the Grays will guard and be guarded by some one their own size. I believe they will do much better. We also need to get a pure 3pt shooter as Cagey has mentioned before.

We had a kid from Norway that REALLY wanted to be here and could apparently shoot the three. BUt we didn't have room for him.

Berg shot 34% from the field last year. Yeah, he could really fill it up lol.

RE: BG at NIU
At the time, I understood why Berg wasn't given a scholly. He was put in a bad position. Berg was not a pg. Right now, I would rather see Stian Berg out there than Cravatta or Mike Davis. Now that springs is gone, I wish Berg was here. Right now, Berg is a better 3pt shooter than JJ, Davis or Christian.

RE: BG at NIU
Berg could of kept Bolin happy. Berg would of been a great role player taking 3 or 4 skip passes for wide open 3s. Sometimes when all things are equal, you go with the better person.

Really don't understand the Berg love. If he is so great why is he averaging 7 points a game at Nova Southeastern whatever the hell that is.

RE: BG at NIU
I don't think its as much Berg love as it is feeling like he is a better shooter than JJ, Davis or Christian. With Springs leaving, I believe Berg would be a better option than these guys. I don't know what happened to Quay Ford but we could really use him at the 2 guard.
