they are transplants to the area and just want to see good basketball......big east, nba, whatever.

at $175 per ticket the opposition does matter

Not to all of us. I'm there for the tigers....no matter what. I'm not alone.

not arguing with you. just pointing out that the newfound enthusiasm in the community with the big east inclusion was killed wen it imploded

I understand but it will still be better than cusa is now.....for some that's just not good enough for others it is. Memphis fans should be used to being on the short end of the stick by now. It IS disappointing for sure but not disappointing enough to sit at home. I guess it just boils down to what you want to spend your entertainment $$ on.

The primo seating area behind the benches for Saturday's Tulsa game looked like a football Saturday at the Tiger Lane Fountain area.

Why would the BE care what we charge? They don't get a slice.

$55 is an embarassment and that kind of money does not move the program ahead. But I get why they do it.

The FB Pogram needs revenue and we can't discuss an OCS selling tickets for $5 to $10 a game.

No offense, man, but no one in the athletic office is discussing an OCS anymore. The Liberty Bowl has stepped it's game up and is a suitable venue for our needs.

Raising ticket costs to $200 would do nothing but scare people off. We need to build a following and show people that the Tiger football experience can be successful and fun. I've talked with all of my friends who normally pick up tickets on the way into the game and convinced them that buying a season ticket will do significantly more to help the program. With season tickets being $55, it was impossible for them to say no. Hopefully, in three to four years, we will have a brand that will attract 40-50,000 people who are willing to pay more for the product.

this :iagree:

I think I have atleast 16 new season ticket holders joining me next year. .. the $55 cost is the key becasue it is low enough to make a commitment without thinking about it, asking the spouse, or saving up for it ..

Working on hubby. We spend so much on BB he says we do enough but if you talk the talk, you need to walk the walk. I want TIGER FB to succeed.
