People just don't fully understand what they are asking for.
Actually we do...but just because we had different answers than your own, you automatically reach for the "they just don't fully understand" card.
Heck, a few of us even explain as to WHY they would prefer a solid 10 year run (I mentioned as a SEASON TIX HOLDER, it would mean a solid run/a lot of HOME WINS over those 10 years) vs say 9 BAD seasons (which would probably mean a ton of bad home losses) during that stretch.
Sorry some of us had different answers/opinions than your own...but those that do, easily and fully understood the hypothetical situation stated in this thread.

Give me Ten Years of NCAA Tournaments and First-Round Losses.
To make the NCAA Tournament you have to be doing something right. You're either having a great season or a so-so to bad one yet winning your Conf. tournament and going as an automatic qualifier. I'll take that over a "fluke" One-Time Final Four. Schools go thru inexplicable losing streaks and ten years going to the NCAA's and losing, while unusual, is a somewhat noteworthy claim that is plausible. Sure fans would be discouraged , as noted already, from heightened expectations but better that than to, at best, go to the NIT every year.
