George mason is -7 tonight against odu.

Yeah, the same odu who just lost to ga state by 20, allowed a freshman to drop 38 points and lost to gmu by 25 or so points last time they faced them.

Just to be completely safe, because I don't completely trust mason on the road, I am buying 3 points to lower mason to -4.

Betting a solid chuck of change on this one, that line should easily be double digits.

They will have an advantage at every single position on the court.

I highly doubt there will be a 25 point turnaround from the last time we played them, we haven't improved at all.

Vegas still didnt realize how bad we are!

Take mason -4 and make yourself some money. Or don't and act like you are taking some brave stand. Whatever.

For the record I also like west va -5 at home over Texas. I'd buy the line to -2. Not going to parlay them, but Texas isn't a very good team and Morgantown is a tough place to play.

eh, i mean they usually lose here, so I don't know if we're going to lose that bad. and who knows, both of these coaches like to choke in the second half so both coaches could literally be appearing to give the game away in the final minutes.

I see George mason pulling away by double digits in the second half and we never get it closer than 8 or 9.

The one thing I don't see us doing is winning out right. We are 2-19 and they have a winning record and the best rpi in the Caa.

They best us by 25 once already. Think we've improved 26 points since then? Yeah, me neither.

+1. Expect a win when you'd least expect it.

This has "straw that broke the camel's back" all over it. A 20- 25-point home loss and I could see a fan meltdown followed by a Blaine meltdown. Could be the ugliest night of an ugly-beyond-velief season

it would be nice if we handed GMU a loss in our single CAA victory this season.

Talk about meltdown....their fans would be LIVID.

That's all I can really pull for this season - taking down an annoying fan base - a la UVA.

Tonight is either a blowout loss or a dramatic come-from-behind win. no losing by 8.

Yes, during the Sun Belt years. After beating WV in the first round and losing to national championship runner-up Duke in the second round during the '85-'86 season, Tom Young's '86-'87 Monarchs went 6-22 with a 10 game losing streak between Dec 27th and January 19th. Well....we were looking OKAY with about 5 to go in the half then just meltdown. How do you give that open 3 look right before halftime?? Also we were getting murdered on the defensive boards. Wish we had more size. Painter sat a lot in the first half....only 1 personal. Don't get it...
