Lots of similarities between these 2

Except for Kaepernick being taller, faster, having a bigger, more accurate arm...yeah they are similar
[/

Taller yes, faster that I'd like to have evidence of as Lynch seems to outrun most defenders chasing him. Bigger arm yes, more accurate again I'd like to see what Lynch could do with better talent, the whole nation saw yesterday that the 49ers receivers are extremely talented and bailed Kapernick out a number plays. Lynch Only had 6 picks in 245 attempts(2nd lowest in the mac) to go with 26 passing td's tied for 3rd in the MAC and 7th in total passes attempted.

Remember the Orange Bowl? In no ways did Lynch show that he's an NFL QB. Stop wasting your time comparing the two.
Lynch didn't get a lot of help that game, the Oline got beat pretty good.

I think most are right that Lynch could be a great Justin Edelman type of player for many teams. The fullback or second TE/Slot WR is where he will end up.

Lynch was slower than almost every player on FSU's defense and this was his major undoing. The O-Line did pretty good considering the size differential and allowed Lynch time. He just couldn't outrun the D in many situations. Wilson and Kaepernick have more foot speed than Lynch and is not a true or fair comparison.

Lynch can have a big role on a team in the NFL, it just will not be at QB.

Also lynch a a QB is not likely but can happen! I do not think he will be able to run like he does vs any NFL defense and his passing is not as accurate as nfL qbs! (Look at lefevour for example)

Only thing I can see is QB on practice squad

Or

Special teams player

Not a safety and not anywhere else

It's not unheard of for a guy to switch positions in the NFL.. not sure why you're so dismissive of the idea.

Usually QB to wr who run 4.2-4.3 40's

Name one QB who became a safety ?

Lynch will get a shot in the NFL playing offense, not safety. Can he catch the ball? He can punt, run and throw, so maybe it's time for Carey to see if he has some good hands. Ha

Eric Crouch off the top of my head, I imagine he's not the only one though. I have no clue what he'll play in the NFL, but I'm not going to just dismiss the idea, it's not unheard of by any means.

Matt Bowen thinks he could play Safety

We're deciding all this based on 1 year of playing? The odds are against almost every college QB of making the NFL as a QB.

Nolan Cromwell!!! Haha that was the 80s. !!! Athletes are a different breed and lynch def could of been QB back then

Also for those I hope the punting thing is a joke! He pooches with no returner hence the 30 yd roll!

Also I call him being a stud special teams at first and hopefully that will turn into a safety

Lynch was not slower than most of the of the FSU players. I don't even know how you can assess that from that game. There were only a couple plays the entire game where his speed could be shown. One was the play to the outside where #7 was a step behind forcing him towards the sideline and then #22 came in and hit him just before he got to the first down. But Lynch and #22 both ran about the same distance, and Lynch had to turn upfield to have any chance of getting the first down.

The other play, Lynch blew past a D-lineman and was pulling away from #11 when he had to slow down due to 2 more FSU players waiting for him. The other plays were up the middle, and speed didn't come into play.
