Yeah, App St. and Georgia So. should be gone and when WKU or Arkansas St. replace Tulsa in CUSA, I think Missouri St. will get that spot in SBC w/ all the upgrades and FBS plan. They'll have better facilities than SHSU, Lamar, NMSU.

The consensus order is

1) Georgia Southern
2) Appy

After that, there is no consensus. I think, given the BCS division rules, the Belt may stop at 8 teams.

Missouri State is on the radar, but only if the Belt goes past 8 and then only if stAte and or WKU are still in the conference. If not, NMSU is next up.

JMU could be in the mix if they really wanted to be. We get the impression that JMU thinks they are 'too good' for the SBC.

Seems that JMU really doesn't know what they want to do. Their own fans can get no information from their administration, even though their Coach Micky Matthews stated that he thought they would go FBS within 18 months about a year ago.

Did you notice how poorly this article was written? They referred to Georgia Southern as Georgia State the first two or three times.

If you read the information posted on the App board it looks as if APP State and Georgia Southern are invited to the Sun Belt. There is correspondence between the AD at New Mexico State also. I would think that the SBC has those three earmarked with possibly JMU and Missouri State in the wings.

Basically some FOIA stuff that AppStateNation.com got from his request to the Georgia Southern AD. GaSo president did meet with the NMSU AD and assistant AD about three months ago. Hope they were not trying to gang up on NMSU and GaSo getting into the Sun Belt and keeping App State out for some reason. Kinda odd. Also included was a Sun Belt map that Benson sent from the SB Commissioners office showing the present Sun Belt with App State and Georgia Southern added.
